A limited edition pair of petite armchairs designed by Gastone Rinaldi for Rima manufacture during the 1950s, these armchairs are known as the Du 41 model, but are also referred to as the Luna Model (as identified by Zanotta in 1995). Recently reupholstered in a gorgeous Bouclé fabric in white, these armchairs boast a unique and distinctive geometrical-shaped frame, with a sleek black painted metal finish that has acquired light scratches over the years. The legs of the armchairs are set on tiny brass saucers that add to their charm. These chairs are emblematic of the Italian design tradition and their geometric yet soft contour create an elegant and modern look. The Du 41 model is also recognizable for its wedge-shaped line, reminiscent of a partially lit moon. These armchairs are perfect for minimal and refined settings, for those with a great aesthetic sensibility. They have been featured in Giuseppe & Jacopo Drago's book "Gastone Rinaldi, designers at the Rima", published by Capitolium Art Editions on page 186.
