In 1920, RIMA was established and was known for manufacturing metal furniture. Gastone Rinaldi took over the business from his father in 1948 and became the designer. Some of his designs, such as the Sabrina chairs from the 1970s, are still popular today. The Sabrina dining chairs have a futuristic and industrial feel with a chrome tubular steel frame, cantilever base, and metal seat. The seat and backrests are covered in black leatherette upholstered pads to provide comfort and finished with a chrome plaque detail. These Sabrina chairs are a superb representation of Italian design from the 1970s and would be a perfect addition to any kitchen or dining room.
