In 1952, Gastone Rinaldi created a set of rare cinema chairs for the IL Piccolo Milano theater. The particular model is referred to as LV 4. These five armchairs are among the earliest examples made for the theater and are constructed with wooden seats and backs, along with sheet metal for the leg structure. The chair design features an inclined seat that offers a comfortable balance for long cinema viewings. The sheet metal part of the leg structure also includes holes that were used to anchor the seat to the ground with bolts. A later version of the chair, the LV 5, was created by Zanuso with a new design evolution that utilized aluminum, Plastorima, and sheet metal. These chairs are perfect for vintage-style contemporary living rooms or for designers' and architects' offices and studios. The chairs are in excellent condition with minimal scratches, but still, retain their beauty.
