The Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma was graced by a one-of-a-kind studio desk, meticulously designed by Frank Lloyd Wright himself. Carolyn Price, the building's proprietor, commissioned this desk for her personal workspace. Each office in the tower had its own unique configuration, which necessitated custom-designed desks. Thanks to the building's distinctive rotating pinwheel layout, the dimensions and positioning of the desks had to be tailored in order to suit the layout of each office. This particular desk, however, stands out from the rest. It was created according to Carolyn's precise specifications, making it a truly unique piece. Crafted from a blend of patinated copper, brass, mahogany, and oak, this magnificent work of art was manufactured in the year 1956.
