The Ford Econoline - 3rd Gen, also known as the E-Series, is a line of full-size vans that were produced by Ford Motor Company from 1975 to 1991. The Econoline was available in two body styles: a passenger van and a cargo van. It had a unique design with a flat front end protruding beyond the front windshield, giving it a distinctive appearance. The 3rd Gen Ford Econoline had a range of engine options, including a 4.9L inline six, a 5.0L V8, a 5.8L V8, and a 7.5L V8. These engines were paired with either a 3-speed automatic or a 4-speed manual transmission. The interior of the Econoline featured a spacious cabin that was capable of seating up to 15 passengers or providing ample cargo space. The rear seats could be removed or folded to easily convert the passenger van into a cargo van. Standard features included power steering, power brakes, and a 12-volt electrical system.
