Ettore Sottsass created this armchair for Olivetti Synthesis, a subsidiary of the Olivetti Group focused on office furniture. As part of the 45 series, which included chairs, writing desks, filing cabinets, drawers, and accessories, it was part of a groundbreaking furniture system that emerged between 1970 and 1972. The chair boasts an acrylic seat and metal base, both in an elegant dark red hue. Despite some minor signs of wear and tear due to its age, it remains in excellent condition and is a coveted item among collectors.
