This exceptional cabinet boasts a vast white melamine top with three erect parallelepiped bodies rising from it, covered in a metallized grooved coating. One body boasts a vibrant purple iridescent finish, while another is a striking mirror silver, and the third is a glossy silver. These finishes interact with each other, resulting in a stunning display of reflective surfaces that reveal the edges of the light wood. The doors open using tubular metallic plugs to reveal an interior with adjustable shelves and wardrobes. Designed by Ettore Sottsass for Oak Design in 2000 as part of the Italy-Japan exhibition, this limited edition cabinet comes with a metallic plate from the producer. Although it is now out of production, it remains an exceptional addition to any home.
