The Ultrafragola mirror/lamp is a part of the impressive Gray Furniture series crafted by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova. With its enticing curves resembling flowing hair, this piece was showcased at the Eurodomus exhibition in 1970. Although other furnishings in the collection didn't progress beyond the prototype stage, the Ultrafragola has remained an iconic piece. Sottsass described the glow emanating from the lamp's fiberglass body as similar to the radiance of a lady's lustrous breasts or a man's glowing tip under the moonlight. Regardless, the Ultrafragola remains a strikingly beautiful and unique addition to any space.
