Using natural pigments derived from the ancient urushi tree, this traditional technique dates back approximately 9,000 years. The dark vermilion and dark brown colors in this vase are both customary for urushi creations, showcasing a remarkable blend of Western contemporary design and Eastern traditional methods. Another color variation of the vase is currently available. This out-of-production item is new and comes in its original packaging, making it a valuable addition to any collection.
