The Ettore Sottsass-designed ice bucket for Rinnovel, created in Italy in 1953 and known as the Mid-Century Italian Modern "mela" or "apple," is a stunning piece made of silver anodized aluminum featuring a beautiful rose-gold-tinted interior and a brass-toned stem that doubles as a handle for removing the lid. Although the aluminum has been polished anew, there are signs of wear, including scuffs and discoloration in certain areas, typical of its age and use. This earlier edition includes the Rinnovel branding. Our offering is the smaller of two sizes, with measurements of 6.5" in height (4" without the lid) and 5.63" in diameter. It is a lovely addition to any collection.
