The Vase H by Ettore Sottsass is part of the 'Twenty-seven Woods for a Chinese Artificial Flowers' collection curated by Design Gallery Milano in 1995. This particular vase is a limited edition, numbered as 6 out of 12. Despite its age, it is in its original condition with only minor signs of wear, which add to its beautiful patina. Ettore Sottsass was a renowned Italian architect and designer who was widely recognized for his works in furniture, jewelry, glass, lighting, and office machine design. He began his career as a design consultant for Olivetti in 1956, where he gained popularity for his ability to infuse popular culture into office equipment through color, form, and styling. Sottsass went on to establish his own design consultancy called Sottsass Associati in the 1980s, where he designed and built architecture, stores, showrooms, identities, exhibitions, and furniture for large international industries. Please note that this particular vase does not come with any flowers.
