This is a completely unique pendant light fixture designed by Ettore Sottsass for VIstosi Italy in 1974. The glass is in excellent condition, without any chips, cracks or fixes, while the stem is very well maintained with minimal signs of wear. The vase bears a label with the distributor's decal 'Murano AB Made in Italy', and the edge features an incised signature 'E. Sottsass Per VIstosi'. This piece can also be found in the literature, VIstosi: Arte e Magia del Vetro Attraverso i Secoli, on an unnumbered page. Overall, it is a stunning fixture.
