Critic tasting note: "This is the third version of MEG, a wine that resulted from the division made in 2017 of the winery's top wine, The President's Blend. This year's MEG consists of malbec (60%) from Escorihuela's vineyards in El Cepillo and cabernet sauvignon from San José in Tupungato, both in the Uco Valley. These are the winery's two highest-quality raw materials, and here, together, they also yield its best wine. The herbal notes of the malbec from El Cepillo (a recurring character of Escorihuela’s malbec grown there) predominate at first and later give way to the cabernet's red and black fruits.
