The 1972 Black Table Lamp, designed by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce, has garnered varying monikers such as Model 660, Flex Calotta, and even Vertebra. Its defining traits include a ribbed lacquered base and a rubber arm adroitly concealing the electrical wire - indicative of its premier iteration. The black iteration of the lamp is a rarity to come by. Boasting a cap diameter of 26 cm and a slightly smaller 25 cm base, the model bears resemblance to another table lamp by Martinelli, as cited in Giuliana Gramigna's Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000 on page 166 (1969).
