It reveals notes of ripe black cherry and cassis cream associated with hints of plum, small and very ripe wild red berries as well as hints of liquorice stick, cardamom, a very discreet grilled oak and a slight hint of cacao. The palate is fruity, mineral, relatively silky, relatively elegant, suave and offers fat, a beautiful frame as well as a slight juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blueberry, cherry and slight notes of raspberry jam, blackberry, very ripe small red berries associated with discreet hints of zan/liquorice, tobacco as well as a discreet hint of black olive and cacao/caramelized oak.
