From the 2017 vintage onward, all production of Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet has been transferred and marketed under Domaine de Montille name. VIneyard notes: "The lieu-dit known as "Les Taillepieds" takes its name from its steep hill and the small, sharp gravel on which winegrowers "slashed their feet" while digging into the earth. It faces east and south on a mid-slope composed of light brown clay and lots of tiny gravel stones. Domaine de Montille has been practising organic faming since 1995 and biodynamic farming since 2005"
