Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Chateauneuf-du-Pape was labeled as 'Vieilles VIgnes' until vintage 2001. Critic tasting note: "The last vintage of this wine for Vieille Julienne as it was folded into the Reserve in subsequent vintages. This was also my last vintage of this cuvee'. With a nose of licorice, kirsch, smoke, clay, herbs and earth, the wine is fleshy, fresh, vibrant and packed with juicy, spicy, sweet, ripe, black raspberries, cherry and plums. Drinking great today, there is no reason not to pop a cork as it's in the perfect state of pleasure today. 95 Points" - 95/100, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
