VIneyard notes: "Les Cazetiers vineyard lies just over the wall from the Clos Saint Jacques. The soil is orange ochre in colour and rich both in clay and in limestone. The limestone helps drainage and absorbs heat during the day, releasing it to the vines at night. This parcel has three different soils: At the top: ostrea acuminata marl. A predominantly light soil, fairly rich in clay. In the middle: rocks and pebbles. At the bottom: silt, more clay and lots of loose limestone."
