The 6th generation Dodge Coronet was produced from 1965 to 1970 and represented a significant departure from the previous generation. The new model was larger and more luxurious, with sharply chiseled body lines, a longer wheelbase, and a range of powerful V8 engines. The exterior of the Coronet was characterized by its sharp, angular lines and large, rectangular grille. Optional exterior features included vinyl roof coverings, racing stripes, and sporty emblems. Inside, the Coronet offered a spacious, comfortable cabin with room for up to six passengers. Standard features included vinyl upholstery, an AM radio, and a choice of manual or automatic transmissions. Under the hood, the Coronet was powered by a range of V8 engines, including a 318 cubic inch engine, a 383 cubic inch engine, and a high-performance 440 cubic inch engine. These powerful engines provided the Coronet with plenty of muscle for straight-line acceleration and spirited driving. Overall, the Dodge Coronet 6th Generation was a stylish, powerful, and luxurious car that offered excellent value for the price. It remains a popular choice among classic car enthusiasts today.
