DS-515 is a versatile and stylish companion that can be taken anywhere, anytime. Its filigree, runner-shaped base frame made of steel provides a sturdy base for the inviting seat area. A thin wire construction serves as the shaping frame for the chair, over which a padded leather cover is elegantly draped. The folded and tucked leather gives the chair a delicate design with masterful leather seats and sophisticated detailing. The back of the chair features a textile insert that adds a distinctive touch to the overall craftsmanship of the composition, making it perfect for any space - be it a dining table, home office or conference room. With a special cover, it can also be used in semi-outdoor spaces. Designed by Carmen and Urs Greutmann, who run their own design studio in Zurich, this family of seating options is characterized by its special clarity in form and materiality. The different sculptures play with exact, different linings that offer a sense of lightness. The result is a range of seating options that can be used indoors or outdoors; at the dining table, in the office, or even as an offbeat rocking chair. The DS-515 series allows for versatile and modular use without sacrificing comfort, thanks to its leather cover which acts as a second skin. This particular model is made with upholstery and a black base, available in Cirrus type. Its dimensions are 55 W x 61 D x 85 H cm with a seat height of 46 cm.
