The Chevrolet Cosworth Vega was a limited-edition performance hatchback produced between 1975 and 1976. It featured a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshafts, fuel injection, and a special aluminum cylinder head designed by Cosworth Engineering. The engine produced 110 horsepower and was mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The Cosworth Vega had a unique appearance with a blacked-out grille, gold pin-striping, and exclusive alloy wheels. It also had upgraded suspension, brakes, and steering, making it a nimble and responsive car to drive. Inside, the Cosworth Vega featured a black and gold houndstooth upholstery, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a center console with a clock and oil pressure gauge. Additional features included air conditioning, power brakes, and AM/FM radio with an eight-track player. Only 3,508 Cosworth Vegas were produced, making it a highly sought-after collector's car today.
