Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark, inky red/purple color is almost opaque. The nose is intense, rich & ripe with high-toned black-cherry fruit overlaying chocolate & raisin notes. The palate is full, rich & concentrated, showing opulent dark-fruit. Acidity is quite soft. Firm tannins give tremendous grip.
