Medium-bodied, elegant, soft and silky, the wine offered a regal air to the fruit and textures. Smoke, cedar, tobacco leaf, flowers and wild cherries were in the nose and on the palate. Popped and poured through a sieve to avoid sediment, this charmer didn't improve in the glass, but it never dropped off either.
