Fifth Growth. Cinquieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855. Formerly labeled as Chateau Clerc-Milon-Mondon. Producer tasting notes: "The wine has a lovely, glittering aspect, deeply coloured but shading slightly. The nose reveals delicate spice and cedarwood aromas with touches of mint and dried flowers. The attack is supple, with plenty of substance. The flavours on the palate recall the aromas of the nose, while the well-integrated tannins harmoniously complement the freshness of acidulated berry fruit. A pleasant finish with lingering freshness. A great success in a tricky vintage." - Chateau Clerc Milon
