First Growth B. Premier Grand Cru Classe B. Critic tasting note: "This could be the rarest wine I have ever tasted. It was my fist tasting of any wine from the year that is best known for the brutal frost that destroyed much of the Bordeaux vineyards. Served blind, I thought it was an early 60's or late 50's wine from a moderate vintage. Close to the color of a rose hip tea, filled with spice, leather, truffle, forest, coffee and crushed stone scents, this medium bodied wine ended with a strawberry, dark cherry finish. Much of the quality from this wine comes the natural low yields caused by the harsh winter weather. 84 Points" - 84/100, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
