The Meribel and Berger stools, a set of twelve designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1953 and 1961, have been relaunched by Cassina in 2011 after being inspired by the simplicity of materials and shapes. Made of American walnut, natural oak, and oak stained black, these low table-stools are inspired by mountain life and French town milking stools. Manufactured in Italy by Cassina, the Tabouret Berger and Tabouret Méribel each have unique solid wood designs that showcase the natural variations in the wood grain. These small masterpieces can be used individually or in creative arrangements and bring a pleasing lightness to indoor spaces. However, please note that the actual colors may vary due to individual screen settings. Charlotte Perriand, an accomplished designer and architect, made an avant-garde contribution to interior composition that transformed modern living. Cassina continues to preserve the designs of 20th century furnishing history while incorporating technology and futuristic thought into their manufacturing process.
