This is a set of three wall light sconces that were produced in Germany by Honsel during the 1960s. These modernist lights are made of solid metal aluminium and are in their original state, with a gold tone finish on the front side. This set is super rare not only in its coloration but also as a set of three. Each light has a diameter of 35cm and a depth of 9.5cm without bulbs. The lights are in good vintage condition overall with some slight traces of use and patina, while the gold tone has been slightly discolored by aging effect and sunlight. One of the lights even has the super rare original producer label sticker by Honsel on the back. These lights are a very nice and rare representation of the Mid-Century Modern and Sputnik interior design period. They are from the model series chosen by Charlotte Perriand to decorate the apartments of Les Arcs Ski Resort. Despite some scratches at the back due to wall installation, these lights are in good working order and in a nice way.
