This is a pair of "Infraphil" heat table lamps/sconces crafted by Charlotte Perriand for Philips in the Netherlands during the 1950s. The bases are made of enameled metal, one beige and the other cream, with red brushed aluminum rings and red glass bulbs. Although designed as heat lamps, they can also serve as table lamps or sconces. There is a light amount of wear consistent with age, such as paint loss and patina to the aluminum and the brass and chrome fittings. The two sconces have slight design differences and dimensional disparities: the darker beige sconce has the chrome fitting, measuring H: 9.5" x D: 8.5" x L: 5.75", while the lighter cream sconce has the brass fitting, measuring H: 9" x D: 8.5" x L: 5.75". Both lamps have the Philips manufacturer label and are in good condition.
