The Stool, originally designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand as part of the LC collection with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, has been relaunched by Cassina in 1973 and again in 2014. It is a stool with an architectural presence that showcases Perriand's passion for poetic harmony. The first version was made of tubular steel with a rattan seat for her own dining room, while a terry towelling seat was used in the salle de bain at the "équipement intérieur d'une Habitation" exhibit in 1929. The current model has a trivalent-chrome plated steel frame with various seat material options. Cassina is known for its I Maestri collection, which revisits famous architects' designs and utilizes advanced technology to manufacture the models.
