Originally designed by Charles Rennie Macintosh in 1904 for the "Willow Tea Rooms" in Glasgow, this throne-like armchair was later relaunched and manufactured by Cassina in Italy in 1973. Featuring a tall semi-circular back which was intended to divide the entrance area from the tea room behind it, the chair perfectly showcases Mackintosh's signature Art Nouveau and geometric design elements. Although in excellent original condition, the seat cushion could benefit from a new foam interior. The chair retains its original Cassina label and is signed and numbered. It can be hand-delivered anywhere en route from Buffalo, NY to New York City.
