Originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1905, this extendable table was relaunched by Cassina in Italy in 1996. This natural cherrywood table perfectly balances classic and contemporary design, with a unique mechanism under the tabletop that allows for extension using a small board located in the middle of the longest side. By lifting the upper tabletop, one or both extensions can be added to increase the table's size. The table measures D 90 cm x W 145 cm x H 74 cm and can extend to D 90 cm x W 265 cm x H 74 cm with both extensions. Please note, some images may show different colors or variations, but these are for interior design proposals only. The item for sale is in the first image. It's important to note that actual colors may vary due to differences in computer monitors and screens. Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) was a Scottish architect, designer, watercolourist, artist, and a major representative of Art Nouveau in the United Kingdom. He influenced European design and won the Alexander Thomson Travelling Studentship in 1890. The Metropolitan Museum of Art held a retrospective exhibition of his works in 1996-1997.
