The Extendable table, originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1905, has been brought back to life with a modern twist. Manufactured by Cassina in Italy, this natural cherrywood table perfectly combines Classic and contemporary elements. The unique feature of this table lies in the mechanism hidden beneath the table-top, allowing for easy extension with the addition of one or both of its extensions. With a length of 145 cm and a width of 90 cm, the table stands at a height of 74 cm. However, with the addition of both extensions, it reaches a length of 265 cm while maintaining its original height. It should be noted that while images of different colors and variations of the model are provided for interior design purposes, the first image depicts the actual item being sold. Actual colors may vary slightly due to variations in computer screens and electronic devices. Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a Scottish architect, designer, and artist, was a significant figure in the Post-Impressionist and Art Nouveau movements. Born in Glasgow and passing away in London, he had a significant impact on European design. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City held a major retrospective exhibition of his works from November 1996 to February 1997.
