Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a renowned Scottish architect, designer, and painter, created the exquisite original design of this stunning vase. He was a leading representative of the Glasgow movement and the most prominent exponent of Art Nouveau in the UK. This particular piece was designed in 1904 and later reproduced in glass by Colle Cristalleria in 1984 as a counterpart to Mackintosh's original silvered metal vase, which was also reproduced that same year by Argenteria Sabattini. The vase is in excellent condition, having never been used and complete with the Colle brandmark, as depicted in the accompanying photo.
