Originally launched in 1969 by the prominent designing duo Charles and Ray Eames, this iconic mid-century chair was the opulent model of the Aluminum Group line released in 1958. The executive height edition of this chair boasts an elevated backrest, original black leather covering, a polished aluminum swivel base with five star design, armrests and rolling casters. Its expertly designed, comfortable and ergonomic construction includes plump cushions, a 360 degree smooth swivel seat with adjustable height and backrest tilt. The original Aluminum Group label from Herman Miller and a date stamp of May 1, 1992 can be found on both the base and underside of the chair.
