The Eames rope-edge swivel base armchair, belonging to the first generation, was produced by Zenith in the late 1940s for a limited time. This chair is a highly sought-after collectible, with only a few available for sale. Its light yellow or parchment color boasts a noticeable fiber and rope-edge, and the Zenith checkerboard logo remains intact. The original dowel base is unaltered and undamaged; it bears the inscription "Seng Chicago," the manufacturer of the swivel bases. The chair and base are in excellent vintage condition, without any damages or repairs, and have not been modified in any way. Some faint paint marks, shown in the pictures, can be easily removed if necessary. This authentic Eames armchair, hailing from the United States during the 1940s, measures approximately 80 cm in height, 64 cm in width, and 46 cm in depth, with a seating height of 43 cm.
