This Charles & Ray Eames coffee table, also functioning as a side table or occasional table, was released by Mobilier International during the 1960s. Featuring a white laminated top with beige rubber trim, it is supported by an aluminum base. Its original Mobilier International label underneath confirms its authenticity. Behind the Mobilier International logo lies the story of the Schulmann family, including two brothers, Théodore and Michel. Mobilier International manufactured and distributed furniture, some of which were exceptional and are now considered icons of 20th-century design. They supplied furniture to hospitals, banks, universities, major institutions, and businesses in France. Therefore, if you come across vintage furniture signed by Eames, Nelson, Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Poul Kjaerholm, Marco Zanuso, etc. in France, there's a good chance they came from Mobilier International. Three coffee tables are available, with patina consistent with age and usage. They show minor signs of wear and tear due to their age, with a few small pressure marks on the edge of the top surface, as seen in the detailed photograph.
