The Rare model Side chair DSX by Charles & Ray Eames, released by Herman Miller in the 1960s (1959 to 1972), is presented here in a version with a stunning original chevron orange and dark orange upholstery, free from any holes. The chromed base contrasts beautifully with the seat shell made of polyester resin and fiberglass. While the shell has some normal scratches due to its age, it has no major defects. The base is in impeccable condition and still has its original glides. The foam is also in very good condition. The chair is signed by both Herman Miller and Mobilier International underneath the shell. History: Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950s, the unique lines and innovative material of these chairs have made a lasting impact on design history. In this orange chevron version, the DSX chair has retained its comfort, remarkable design, and pop of color. It is a valuable addition to any collection. The chair can also be purchased as part of a set with an orange and cream chevron version.
