Critic tasting note: "White Bones comes from the Adrianna VIneyard, planted more than 1,450 meters up at the foot of the Andes in an area known as Monasterio, in Gualtallary, in the north of the Uco Valley. It’s a selection from a parcel of calcareous soils with layers of calcium carbonate that usually give this wine the particularly saline character that all of the Adrianna chardonnays have, although it’s particularly noticeable here and leaves a delicious mineral sensation. This was a warm year, although in truth, you don't notice it. It’s still a firm, sharp chardonnay marked by salinity as well as has sharp acidity in a white that seems to have been made of stones rather than of fruit. You could open this wine now with raw shellfish, but you could also keep it for a decade or more." - 96/100, Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
