This exquisite Italian art glass ashtray is a magnificent antique from the 1930s. Crafted using the renowned "a Bollicine" technique, it features thousands of small bubbles that lend the piece a remarkable depth and texture. The champagne or caramel-colored sommerso glass is adorned with gold flecks and covered in gold leaf, while its flat, circular rim is ideal for holding cigarettes. The ashtray is signed "Venini Murano" on the inverted pontil mark, and has an old oval paper label.
