Carlo Scarpa designed an iconic series of 12 chairs for the Auditorium in VIa della Conciliazione, Rome, as part of an architectural project helmed by Marcello Piacentini in 1950. These chairs are from the auditorium's first and second rows, featuring painted metal frames and plush red velvet upholstery. All chairs are in their original condition and individually numbered in gold ink, with the exception of one armless chair at the end of the row. The chairs are still in good shape and come with a folding seat feature. The measurements for each chair are as follows: Height 98 cm, 58 x 53 cm, seat height: 50cm (depth with seat closed: 50 cm).
