The Bristol 401/402 was a series of luxury automobiles produced by Bristol Cars, a British manufacturer, from 1948 to 1953. The 401 was the first model in the series, and the 402 was introduced in 1953 as an updated version with improved brakes and suspension. Both models were powered by a 2.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produced around 85 horsepower, and came standard with a four-speed manual transmission. The 401/402 had a top speed of around 97 miles per hour and could accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in around 15 seconds.
