The first generation of the Audi 80, also known as the B1 series, was introduced in 1972 as a replacement for the Audi 60. The B1 series was available as a two-door or four-door sedan or a two-door or three-door hatchback. It was powered by a range of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, with output ranging from 55 to 110 horsepower. The B1 series also came with a range of standard and optional features, including air conditioning, power windows, and a sunroof. Overall, the Audi 80 / Fox B1 was a popular and well-regarded car during its production run, known for its reliability, performance, and style. It was later replaced by the B2 series in 1986.
