This exceptional set of four Mid-Century Modern Dot stools is in excellent original condition. They feature teak seats supported by three chrome legs, complete with the original grey plastic cappings on the feet. These stools add a touch of classic elegance to any interior and can be used as either stools or occasional tables, perfect for low armchairs or sofas. The teak seats are finely figured with an exceptional color and patina. The Dot stool is not only elegant and lightweight, but also stackable and functional. It exudes the simplicity and aesthetics of classic Mid-Century Modern Danish design. You can even combine this set of four with another set to create a stylish dining seating of eight. The Dot stool was originally developed by Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen during the 1950s and was initially presented to the market as a three-legged stool in teak veneer. In 1970, it was redesigned with four legs.
