Arne Jacobsen designed a set of six stunning "Ant" chairs for Fritz Hansen in the 1950s. This particular edition is one of the earliest versions and still features the original rubber disc spacers, which is a construction technique similar to that used in Eames chairs. MOMA and the Danish Design Museum also exhibit Ant chairs with the same detail. Made of veneered ply, these chairs are in excellent structural condition but have some minor vintage-related wear and tear. A few of the rubber feet have been substituted with official 2-part replacements, but otherwise, the chairs are entirely original and charming in their own way.
