A set of twelve nickel-plated brass door handles (consisting of 10 small and 2 large handles) designed by Arne Jacobsen is a rare find. These handles were produced in 1957 specifically for Carl F. Petersen in Denmark and are associated with the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. This hotel was constructed by Jacobsen himself between 1956 and 1960. The handles are in good vintage condition and have a lovely patina. Roses for the small handles and plates for the large handles can be provided upon request. Relevant literature includes M. Sheridan's Room 606: The SAS House and the Work of Arne Jacobsen and C. Thau and K. VIndum's Arne Jacobsen, both of which provide useful information on these handles.
