A duo of Arne Jacobsen's Egg chairs produced in the early years and designed specifically for the SAS Royal Hotel Copenhagen in 1958. This particular pair is from the first edition and lacks seat cushions. They were created circa 1959 by Fritz Hansen and have been refurbished with new black "Canyon" leather sourced from Arne Sørensen, Denmark. In the images provided, one can observe the chairs prior to their restoration and note that the original Fritz Hansen brand remained stamped on the leather or fabric in the first production series. The upholstery work was carried out professionally by AP Møbelpolstring Horsens/Aalborg Denmark, and all details have been thoroughly documented in an organized manner.
