Born and raised in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1927. After gaining experience at the City Architect's office, he started his own practice just two years later. Widely known as a modernist Danish architect, Jacobsen has designed numerous buildings in Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This light fixture is designed to emit light downwards and features an adjustable shade angle to ensure optimal light distribution. Additionally, the shade's interior is painted white to create a soft, comfortable illumination. Constructed from die cast zinc and spun steel, this fixture requires a 15W light source and uses an A-19 bulb (not included). It operates at a voltage of 120V and is available in both white and black.
