The Large AJ Royal pendant in white, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen, is an iconic piece that adheres to Jacobsen's geometric shape concept. This simple yet complex pendant features a spherical dome shape with circular ringed louvers on top for a subtle glow. The shade is made of white wet painted spun aluminum, steel rings, and a frosted acrylic diffuser. Each pendant comes with 12 feet of white textile cord and a white ceiling canopy. The pendant is a UL-listed re-edition that includes a 30W LED/2700K bulb and factory warranty. Please note that availability of this item can change at any time. This pendant is also available in black or white in three different sizes (9.8", 14.6", and 19.7" diameter) with the iconic ridges on top that allow a gentle light to exude upwards. All three sizes come with an Opaline diffuser, and the new, energy-saving LED version offers 2700k or 3000k. Each pendant includes 12 feet of fabric black or white cord and a matching canopy that corresponds to the lamp's color. Arne Jacobsen is a world-renowned Danish modernist architect and designer who earned his degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1927. Throughout his career, Jacobsen dabbled in various fields related to his work, such as lighting, furniture, fabrics and wallpaper patterns, cutlery, door handles, and sanitary fixtures. Some of his most famous designs include "The Egg" and "The Swan" chairs.
