This is the Arne Jacobsen 3117 swivel desk chair, specifically the original, first series four-star swivel base version with chromed steel feet on casters. The renowned designer created this chair back in the year 1955. The chair has recently undergone a reupholstering process, with special emphasis to detail. The chair now has the same hand-stitched upholstery as the original, which is highly unusual to find on AJ chairs being reupholstered due to the rarity and cost of such detail-oriented craftsmanship. The upholstery is crafted in the finest and most costly Danish aniline leather that will age gracefully, the same quality of leather used for the original chairs back in the day. The chair's height is manually adjustable, giving you the flexibility to adjust the seat height between 40 to 55 cm, a desirable feature not commonly seen.
