This set of eight dining chairs, known as model Lily 3108 and designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1970, were crafted by Fritz Hansen and are incredibly rare with their warm, beautifully patinated Cognac leather. Originally created for Danmarks Nationalbank, these timeless Scandinavian design masterpieces are in excellent condition and pair seamlessly with any dining table. Each chair is marked with the manufacturer's tag and is referenced in Arne Jacobsen's book by Thau and VIndum on page 532. Arne Jacobsen, a Danish architect and designer born in 1902, is renowned for his iconic chairs, including the "Ant" and "Series 7" lines. He designed the interior of the Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, and was a professor of architecture at the Skolen for Brugskunst in Copenhagen from 1956 to 1965.
